Langham Creek junior Jesica Mata won a first-place Division I award in the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts 2015 Student Art Contest and Juried Exhibition.
April 9, 2015—The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) announced seven winners from Cypress-Fairbanks ISD in the 2015 Student Art Contest and Juried Exhibition.
The following students won first-place, second-place or jurors’ selection awards and will have their winning artwork displayed at the Pearl Fincher (MFA), located at 6815 Cypresswood Drive in Spring, from April 9-25:
The students and their families will be recognized at an awards ceremony set for April 19 at 4 p.m. at The Forum at Cypress Creek Christian Church and Community Center, adjacent to the Pearl Fincher MFA.
Langham Creek junior Jesica Mata’s artwork, “Released Comfort,” won a first-place award in Division I of the Pearl Fincher Student Art Contest.
Cypress Ranch senior Toni Sanchir's artwork, "Dreaming," won a second-place award in Division I of the Pearl Fincher Student Art Contest.
Langham Creek sophomore Nastassia Simon’s artwork, “Blame,” earned a Jurors’ Selection award in Division I.
Cypress Woods senior Kenzie Miller’s artwork, “Drippy Sun,” earned a Jurors’ Selection award in Division I.
Cypress Woods senior Emily Payne’s scratchboard artwork, “Kiss the Prince,” earned a Jurors’ Selection award in Division I.
