Nov. 3, 2025—Salyards Middle School eighth grade student Alicia Lee is praised by her teachers for embodying what is means to be a Salyards Bengal.

Accomplishments: Lee’s teacher, Ashley Spotted Wolf, shares that Lee loves her school, her teachers and her peers. Lee strives to be the best person she can be in all her classes. She works hard, asks questions to truly understand the concept she is learning and enjoys helping her peers be the best they can be. Lee is also in choir.

Favorite class: “Algebra, because I feel challenged all the time.”

Favorite things to do after class: “Read romance novels and listen to breakup songs.”

Favorite song: “Any Taylor Swift song.”

Favorite website/app: “They have some really fun quizzes on Guessing My Soulmate.”

Favorite TV show: The Good Doctor. It portrays what residential doctors go through, and the main character’s growth is really interesting.”

Favorite movie: Central Intelligence, because it can make me laugh until I’m out of breath.”

Ambition: “I want to become a really skilled forensic pathologist because it’s the one job that gives justice to the deceased. I find it very deep and meaningful.”

What topics/things are you passionate about?: “I’m really passionate when it comes to the mysteries of the universe. I would talk about how the past, present and future are all connected and we’re constantly changing them.”

What inspires you?: “I wouldn’t say I have an inspiration. It’s the hope of growing up and defending myself that gets me through every day. It’s more like a motivation.”

What three things can’t you live without?: “The three things I can’t live without would be music, lovey-dovey romance novels and everyone who cares about me.”
